Founder and CEO of Manna Aero, Bobby Healy joined us to discuss the future of drone technology and its transformative potential for last-mile delivery services. With a background as a software developer and serial entrepreneur, Healy has made significant strides in the tech industry. Before founding Manna, he led CarTrawler, a major player in the airline technology sector. Healy’s latest venture, Manna, focuses on “Drone Delivery as a Service,” which he believes will revolutionize suburban deliveries by offering faster, greener, and safer alternatives to traditional road-based logistics.
Healy’s vision for Manna stems from his belief that drones can address the inefficiencies and environmental costs of road deliveries. Manna drones are designed to deliver items like groceries and coffee within minutes, and the company has already conducted thousands of successful flights in Ireland. With backing from investors and partnerships with major retailers, Manna is gearing up for expansion into the U.S. and Europe, overcoming regulatory hurdles and proving the scalability of drone deliveries.
