Biography
Faisal Ali Rashid is the Senior Director at the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, where he oversees strategic demand-side management and green mobility programs. He has been pivotal in formulating the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy, which targets 100% clean energy by 2050, and implementing the Dubai Demand Side Management Strategy, which seeks a 30% reduction in energy consumption by 2030. Faisal’s leadership extends to numerous landmark projects, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, one of the world’s largest renewable energy facilities. His experience in policy development and environmental sustainability is instrumental in positioning Dubai as a global leader in renewable energy and climate action.
